Here Is What They Didn’t Tell You About Ethanol

By: GARKO

While the hysteria continues to mount about global warming all sorts of “solutions” are being advanced and some are more harmful than others and some are even more harmful than fossil fuels!. Biofuels have achieved a great deal of popularity but that is mainly because the politicians have been pushing it hard along with the media. . The most prevalent variety of biofuel is Ethanol made from corn and combined with gasoline into something called E85, which means it's 15% gasoline and 85% ethanol. However, the gasoline and ethanol is variable based upon the outside temperature so its more or less gas in the mixture depending on the time of year in most areas of the United States. During the Winter months you need more gasoline in the mixture to ensure the fuel works properly, so E85 is at least 70% ethanol.
The need for gasoline then, would drop by 70% or more and that would be a tremendous advantage…not as good as having no more need for gasoline, but better than what we have right now for sure. So that is not the problem with Ethanol, particulary.
Here are some real problems with Ethanol Biofuels such as E85 are causing food shortages globally. The problems are rather fascinating Most ethanol is derived from corn. Corn therefore has huge demand. Therefore farmers are growing more corn than wheat and soy. So now instead of having not enough corn you have not enough corn, soy and wheat… it gets worse This brings on three new sets of problems: lack of land on which to grow corn and other staples, soaring food prices and, yes, potential starvation of the poor.
Don’t think that this is just affecting poor people though. If you eat food then it affects YOU. You know that the price of food has increased partially due to the increase in the price of diesel which is used in the trucks that transport it, right? In the same fashion, what corn gets on the market has shot up unprecedentedly in the last few months - around 30% already this year – all because of the demand for biofuels. What is odd about all this is that the environmentalists, who are politically situated on the far left for the most part, have always been chastised as “bleeding hearts” because of their desire to help all the underprivileged at the expense of hard working middle class people and also the wealthy, like modern day Robin Hood.s The biofuel solution, pushed hard by the same folks is hurting the poor, hungry, underprivileged people of the world the most.
While the price of food continues to skyrocket which makes it even harder for the poor people of the world to get any decent nutrition, you can count on more tax dollars being pulled from your paycheck to cover the cost. Wow! It is almost as if it was all designed that way with malice aforethought by the rich and the elite.
By 2030, the total population of Earth is expected to rise to such a high level that we would need to increase food production 50% between now and then just to keep pace. In 70 years based on current projections, food production would have to double. But the urgent movement to biofuels - allegedly good for the environment - translates in reality to a reapportionment of fertile land to growing food for energy purposes.
Predictably, the greater demand has been reflected by the rapid increase in the prices of fundamental crops, including wheat, over the past two years.
Biofuels have been heralded as a means of reducing the toxic fuel emissions pumped out by fossil fuels however recent investigations have questioned how much benefit that they might have when all elements of the equation, for instance the use of pesticides and such on the crops, areconsidered. Critics have been angered by the loss of tropical rainforests, which have been levelled to allow farms to grow biofuel crops.
Laying waste to forest landDeforestation has been calculated to cause approximately 18 percent of world greenhouse gas emissions and many experts view the concept of tearing down forest land for the purposes of growing crops for biofuel to be insane.
There are basically three alternatives to us. One is to boycott ethanol. Another is to expose global warming as the hoax that it is and there is great progress on this front, even today. And the other is something else entirely.
But here is something that IS happening right now and getting results!
WATER4GAS is sharing information for a nominal fee which consumers can use in their garage or wherever to create a small device which infuses hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their vehicle runs on.
The process makes smaller particles out of the particles that the engine uses as fuel. Because of the smaller size it is able to use a lot more of it.
By doing this you can reasonably expect to improve your fuel economy by thirty to fifty percent or significantly more. Those particles must have been pretty darn big in some engines before. But with W4G they are made usable so you can improve your fuel economy.
It also helps make emissions substantially cleaner.
This package of info has been purchased by over 9000 people already and the percentage of happy customers is about 99%! So how about you?
